Projects

A single check is a snapshot. A project is the whole story. Most ideas are not finished in one sitting — you check a concept, change it, check it again. Projects keep all of that together.

How a project works

A project is a place you return to. Every check you run inside it is saved there, in order, so you can see how your idea changed and how its originality moved with it.

It remembers

Checks inside a project are aware of what came before. You can give each project a short description — what you are building and who it is for — and every check in that project takes it into account. You do not re-explain your idea from scratch every time.

It records

Every assessment inside a project is written to your Ledger: a permanent, dated record of exactly what your idea said at that moment. Follow-up questions are not recorded — only real checks are.

It can be watched

Switch on Drift Check for a project and it keeps searching for new work after you have stopped.

Chats outside a project

A quick one-off check does not need a project. Those stay as ordinary chats — useful, but not remembered, not recorded, and not watched.
